I Thessalonians 4:4 and Galatians 5:22-23 say it all. Masturbation, like any other sin, is rooted in selfishness and self-gratification. It takes what is supposed to be reserved for your spouse and places it in your hand(s).
Second, masturbation can cultivate a self-centered and pleasure-seeking appetite that warps one’s view of biblical sex….that right there in a nutshell for me condems the act. Yes some may agree the it is harmless as you may experience these changes when you come into puberty but it directly leads to lust and pre marital sex, but of which are sins in the Bible.
