Today’s reading was great because it mentions great reasons and the effects sex before marriage has on us spirituallly and physically. “That’s why a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife. The two of them will become one.”

It’s better to wait: it’s God’s plan, we do things in the correct order, we honor our future spouse, and avoid certain difficulties and troubles that are otherwise unnecessary.
If you can take the pleasure aspect out this it makes a lot of sense. A sexual relationship involves a tremendous amount trust and devotion between one another and should not be taken likely. The misuse of it may cause intimacy or trust issues when it matters the most; when you finally marry someone.
