Real Men Worship Devotional Day 4

WORSHIP GOD FOR HIS PROMISES
What the devil doesn’t want you to know is that during worship there is a peace and a freeing experience that takes place and it’s not just for that worship service. Surrounding yourself in worship constantly helps you acknowledge the presence of God in your life and in your circumstances.
The context of psalm 29 (GNB version) is worshiping God. As you do that, things change and circumstances change. Healing comes. God’s help comes. Peace is found. God’s promises are so good that we can worship and praise Him even before we see them come to pass in our lives. That very act is called “faith.” Some of God’s promises are: to heal us (Isaiah 53:5), to give us his peace (John 14:27), to fight for us (Exodus 14:14), to provide for our needs (Matthew 6:33), to give us eternal life (John 3:16) and many more.
So no matter what you’re going through- marriage problems, sickness, loss of a job, rebellious kids, absent father, just worship God. I promise, better yet, He promises things will change. The way you respond, the way you feel, will begin to transform. You will find peace.  You may not always see what you want but you will have the strength to get through whatever you’re going through. Trust me, better yet, trust God, He never fails.

Acts 16:25-34
